Sustainability

In recent years, sustainability has become a strategic pillar in the management of organizations, as well as in the agendas of governments around the world and multilateral institutions. The growing demand for transparency from investors, regulators, and society has driven organizations to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into their activities, as well as to communicate performance in these areas more clearly. Today, sustainability not only responds to regulatory requirements, but also represents a key element in generating long-term value and fostering stakeholder trust.

In this context, although CORES is not subject to specific regulatory obligations regarding non-financial reporting, the Board of Directors has voluntarily embraced a commitment to sustainability, incorporating the consideration of ethical, social, and environmental aspects associated with its mission. Since 2019, CORES has published sustainability information in its Annual Report, thereby reinforcing its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.

Since February 2026, CORES has been certified to carry out operations involving sustainable products under the National System for the Verification of Sustainability (SNVS) and the ISCC EU (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification), a voluntary scheme recognized by the European Union.
